The David and Jayne Paterson Educational Trust
Dear David,
On behalf of the Faculty of Law, I write to express our sincere gratitude for the David and Jayne Paterson Scholarships, which have enabled a generation of students from the China University of Political Science and Law to benefit from the transformative opportunity of studying on Oxford Law’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Over many years, the Scholarship has played a significant role in supporting some of China’s most promising legal scholars to deepen their understanding of the law within a global context. We are grateful that, through your support, they can hone their ideas under the guidance of our world-leading faculty.
We are equally grateful for the Scholarship’s role in promoting intellectual exchange; the David and Jayne Paterson scholars greatly enrich our academic community through their research and perspectives. They are an outstanding addition to our faculty, and we are grateful to welcome them each year.
The Faculty of Law is deeply appreciative of the Trust’s continued support and of the profound impact the Scholarship has had on successive cohorts. We look forward to welcoming future scholars, who will bring their talent and perspectives to Oxford and go on to contribute to the development of the law through their research, teaching, and professional practice.
Yours sincerely,
